After 8 style try ons, I thought it was time for us to have a catch up… Make sure to check out the amazing (if I do say so myself) content I have produced, whether that is through my blog or through my TikTok if you’re feeling a little lazy today https://bit.ly/3uVffNB. I feel like this is the perfect time to tell you all how this blogging experience has made an affect on my confidence and my styling.
Posting these blogs has been easy for me, it’s like speaking to nobody because you don’t see their face, but posting on TikTok consistently and messaging guest stars to help me out has been challenging. I would say I’m very much a fake it till you make it person, I try my best to put on a confident face, but really I’m sweating and my mouth is dry like the Sahara desert.
I find it difficult to really put myself out there, as you could maybe tell through some posts where I mention not going to festivals or clubs. And doing this in general has definitely helped me push myself. Messaging guest stars has been difficult for the fact that I did have people in mind I wanted to message, but it was the case I wasn’t confident enough to do so, but I know now that it’s fine, because I messaged people I actually didn’t know. So I had to sell the idea to them to show it was worth their time helping me out. Maybe I did chicken out a little, but I think I managed to go around it in a smarter and more tactical way.
The main person who made an impact on me has to be Al Bethany, she really pushed me out of my comfort zone but she also lifted my spirits and gave me a confidence boost. We love girl support here! So I decided to do a mini montage video of the styles I tried on throughout this series so far, just a little reminder to what I have tried on.
Not only has this blog helped me with gaining confidence mentally, it has also helped me physically. Recently non-essential stores have been able to open, and my TikTok was full of reopening of Primark videos, you bet your ass I went down. I went in with an open mind, and I truly gave everything a good look, usually I just wizz around the areas I know I like. And I managed to find a lot of items I would not usually go for, and because the changing rooms are shut, this was the perfect chance to buy these items and try them on at home. Granted, I didn’t keep all of the items, but it was nice giving them a chance. And if you would like to see what I bought then here you go…
So this is me, putting my feelings and thoughts out there to whoever finds this. I hope you take something from these blogs, and that if anything it entertains you at the minimum. Here’s me signing off for now, until next time…
